Just a quick one here: My new fave Spring polish, Zoya Marley. I know you’ve seen swatches of this everywhere, but I’m going show you one more
Something I find tricky is imagining what most polishes will look like on my darker skin, so if there’s anyone reading that has skin color close to mine, I hope these posts are helpful!
Anyway, here’s the polish!
I believe the first picture is natural light and the other is definitely indoor lighting. There was a weird squiggly in my ring finger polish I didn’t notice till I took the pictures, sorry! Application as usual for Zoya was easy, maybe a tad thicker than normal, but still easy application. This is two coats, no top coat. I find I change my polish so often that I can’t accurately comment on the wear of my polishes because they never last that long
Also, I rarely use a top coat for this reason, and also because for a lot of polishes, I actually don’t like that super glossy look it gives.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!

So pretty! Now I *almost* regret passing this up.
Lately I’ve been foregoing the base/top coat routines as well. One, out of sheer laziness. And two, like you said, not worth it when you’re going to change things up in a day or two.

What polishes have you caved on recently? I know you passed up a lot of the Spring collex, is there any polishes you’ve come across lately though that captured your interest? I’d love to know

My most recent are Slushied (the bright blue) from Sephora/OPI’s Glee and San Tan-Tonio from OPI Texas. And the OPI Black Shatter which I posted about. The only nail polish I’m lusting after currently is Chanel’s Graphite which won’t be released until July or August. I’ve never put myself on a wait list for anything before but this might be it!
