Thanks Liz! I picked up a few things at Sally Beauty and Chatters to entertain me, I’m all good

butter London’s formula definitely trumps Essie’s, so yea, that’s a no-brainer! The only reason I got the Essie was because of the $2 because it WAS just so damn irresistible. But, into the ‘give-away’ pile it goes!

You are the best Mom ever!! I will definitely heed your advice and pump some Vit D into me, as I just want this over and done with, and plus – we’re headed camping in Gros Morne on Friday, so no sickies allowed lol.

As for the Essie vs butter London – I’m thankful that I enjoy the b.London shade and formulation so much, it made it that much easier to give the Essie the boot. Definitely agree about the no-show shimmer though – what a waste!!

I can detect a slight difference between the two but I agree – close enough that you don’t need both. I’d also keep the butter LONDON – I find Essie’s formula to be kind of watery and annoying. I’ve heard of Judith Ripka but not in conjunction with Essie… and what, $2??? Crazy! And irresistible. Thanks for the comparison!

Hey Toya….hope you feel better soon! Take Vitamin D – at least 2,000 IU’s per day…it will cut the duration of your cold by half and give you further protection as well. As to the shades, they really look exceptionally close — too close in fact! It’s a shame that the Essie’s shimmer has gone into hibernation, as I like it’s dusty quality and a visible shimmer, even slight, would have elevated its status greatly. Still, they both look awesome on you!! Healing hugs!
