I’m starting to accumulate a backlog of nail swatches that I haven’t yet featured on the blog; not that its a bad thing, because it’s handy when you’re pressed for time but want to leave a lil sumthin’ sumthin’ for your readers – kinda like right now! This week is the Halifax Pop Explosion, and being one half of a majorly music-loving duo, we’re hitting up as many shows as we can! Which means…even less time in my already hectic life, and therefore less time to blog. On that note, check out this random polish I bought like, two Spring’s ago that I only picked up because I got a pedicure with it before I went down South, and then never wore again. SO not my kinda shade, but I can see it totally being someone else’s! So, here it is:
A cool-toned pink with blue shimmer. Sounds cool, but totally bores me ~snooze~
Easy enough to apply, but dislike that you can see visible nail lines. Probably could have avoided that with another (third) coat, but not diggin’ it. This polish has been up for swap for ages and no one else seems to want it either. I don’t blame them lol.
That’s all for now! Gotta run to the next show!
Have a great night everyone

Have fun! This isn’t my kind of shade either but one of those that look fun and pretty in the bottle. Kind of like neon clothers or splashy prints — totally wearable on vacay, not really in real life.

Good analogy! So true. I dunno, lately I like my nail polishes a little more complex

Pop Festival? Sounds so cool! We’re a totally musical family here too and if I mention this festival to my husband, he’ll probably want to go on a road trip, lol!! Ok….as to this shade, I bought it a few years ago and applied it as a pedi shade right before I headed down south too! (weird, huh?!) and you know what? I LOVED IT so much that I wore it all Summer! Maybe your bottle was a dud, cause 2 coats gives me total opacity and I just loved how it complimented my tanned toesies!! First time we didn’t agree on a shared shade! But I still loves ya!

Its not that I didn’t enjoy it at the time, but it really does scream ‘South’ to me, and after that I just wasn’t into wearing it around, regardless if it was Summer or not here. Part of it is that I don’t like hues that have that blue opalescent shimmer – something about that really turns me off. The pink on it’s own is a nice enough shade….really, I think it’s just that I’m freakin’ picky!!! Haha. But of course, I love to hear your side of things and I still loves ya too, and I very much respect your opinions because they’re so often spot on!!
