Typical Gemini – I Can’t Even Focus on Holiday Beauty, I’m Already Distracted with Thoughts of Spring!

The Holidays haven’t even passed, and Winter here in Halifax is just getting into full swing – and already I’m itching to get my hands on some of the new Spring offerings that are cropping up around the blogosphere and at your local beauty counters!!  What can I say, I love me some beauty :D While I haven’t seen any of these products firsthand, here are some great posts that are sure to inspire lemmings in you the same way they did me:

Best Things in Beauty, Sabrina at The Beauty Look Book, and Makeup Magpie are all raving about the new Blush Horizon de Chanel, a gorgeous pink-based striped blush.  I will not miss out on this!!!

Though I’ve been in a slight polish slump the past couple months, I think OPI’s Holland collection will help bring me back to the light – Fashion Polish has made sure of that!

I don’t own a lot of Laura Mercier makeup, but it might be time to change that – the upcoming Lingerie collection I saw on Temptalia is too pretty to resist!

I skipped out on the first Urban Decay Naked palette, and stand by my decision.  Will I be able to retain my willpower against the Naked 2 palette?  xSparkage aids in my decision with a great comparison post.

Though this product has apprently been available in Canada since October, I just saw an ad for it for the first time last week – the Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo!  Cinnamon Kitten has details on it’s effectiveness, and it sounds great!

Another product that’s not new to the beauty scene, but new on my radar – due to the initial reaction of Liz at Beauty Reductionista, I just might have to take a good long look at the Clarisonic Mia and determine whether or not I should add it to my beauty repetoire!

I hope everyone is having a great Holiday!!  What kind of loot did Santa bring you??

Ahhhhh……Chanel in the springtime; doesn’t get better than that, I tell you! My personal lemmings are anything by Chanel (duh!), and I am sooo looking forward to this collection, I cannot begin to tell you! OPI’s Holland Collection, which I’ve had for some time now, will have to suffice for now – if I can only find time to finish my review on it, lol! PS: you got snow as well (on the blog)! Love it!!

I was so envious of your snow all month, and then I was updating a few things in my settings and realized I had the power all along! LOL SO fun! And yes, Chanel…it’s happened, I’m officially hooked. This spells Trouble, my friend! But in the most beautiful of ways ;)

I had such high hopes for these spring collections but the pastels just don’t work with my skin tone. Yet weirdly, in Asia, they LOVE those colours. I swatched the Dior spring nails yesterday and found them lackluster, so nothing from them for me.

The only thing I got was the April nail polish from Chanel and only because I was at the Singapore airport with SGD$28 in my wallet that I had to get rid of. And the Chanel polishes were that exact price!

I would so love to know what you think of the collections when you get a hold of them! Keep us informed!

I most certainly will, my dear :) The Spring collections always arrive here later than everywhere else, so I’m sure I’ll be showing you nothing new, but regardless, you’ll hear about it LOL I still need a Dior polish (or two) – I hope at least one of the shade look nice on me, or I’ll be continuing to pine away for them!

...And what do you have to say about all this?? Dish! :)
