Oops! Busy weekend again it seems…but I have a few excellent links to share which I hope you enjoy!
- I love this article on how to care for sensitive skin – they break it down so well, and actually offer valuable advice.
- When my little shoebox full of nail polish became over-capacity, I got a few awesome storage ideas here (sadly, none of which I used – but still so cool!).
- In a makeup rut? Check out these interesting makeup pairings based on the Color Wheel. As a follow up, check out the Spring 2012 Pantone shades.
I’ve never been one for the matte skin look – so aging! Check out some hints on how to achieve a glowing, healthy look.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend with some sunshine-y weather
It’s cool here in Hali but Spring is in the air big time! I can’t wait till the Public Gardens open!

I know, I drooled over so many of these things. Why don’t I have a freakin’ vanity table already!?!? It seems totally wrong to me that I don’t have one – it would look so great with all of my pretty makeup displayed
Also can’t wait for good weather, I neeeeed that! We had a couple amazing days here and now I see on Thursday we’re getting 15-20cm’s of snow. WTF Halifax?!

The Color Wheel makeup is awesome! And I am totally lusting after the Sephora Pantone products ._.

I thought the Color Wheel stuff was pretty awesome too! I just like the idea of all the Pantone shades, it seems like such a neat idea and a great way to think more creatively about makeup – love it!

speaking of storage… I just this week picked up this Desktop Carousel from Michaels craft store and it’s amazing… I’m actually selling my unused train case because it didnt fit where I wanted my stuff. The compartments in the carousel that are too deep I just filled @1/2 with the little plastic beads you can buy at the dollar store. It spins which makes it really easy to find what you want AND Michaels allways has 40% off coupons so this can be scooped up at a great price!

Ohh, what a smart idea Barb! I never even thought of going to Michael’s, but there is so much great stuff there I could work with! And filling it with beads – awesome! I’m going to have to take a gander over there the next time I’m in the area – thanks for the idea!

That storage post! Man, I could stare at those all day, I want one of my own ginormous vanities *off in dreamland*
The Public Gardens look gorgeous, but I must be the only one hoping winter will never end. Majorly dislike spring and summer weather. Fall isn’t so great here either, because it pretty much feels like summer. I think I need to move!

Whaaaa!? Where are you exactly? I don’t necessarily LOVE Summer and the heat – but I much prefer ‘crisp’ days to freezing, and I desperately need more sunshine. You do need to move (and I have some suggestions
).
I also want an awesome vanity, I can’t get the idea out of my head now after I saw all these. In my next like (eg. my next residence) I’m totally getting this – it’s pretty much a must-have if you write a beauty blog, right!?!

I’m in SoCal LOL. Winter is over in a month
In your next life? Well, Tracey and I were thinking of building a hobbit residence, why don’t you move in and we’ll all chip in for an awesome vanity in this life? Sound like a plan?

AHHH THINK ABOUT IT!!!!
That would be awesomeness personified. Those hobbit homes are pretty stellar! And if it had a vanity…well, life pretty much couldn’t get any better
